I should be studying for my last final instead of doing this.

I've been driving on the interstate a lot lately for some reason.  I suppose this is my way of entertaining myself in between spurts of dancing to Richard Simmons music.

Stage Light

This is at my church, believe it or not.  We rented some moving intelligent heads (lights) for one service, just to keep it real like that.  I volunteer for the church, so I spent most of my weekend setting these puppies up, then programming them to move around, flash, and change color in time with the song.

It was intense.  Like camping.  Sorry for the bad pun that only really works when spoken :p

Hey guess what...

The Columbia River Gorge that's what!!!

These were taken from the Washington side. The first photo I was nearly hanging of the edge of a 1100ft cliff to get it! It was crazy! For reals too, just look at the little tiny house in the bottom right corner.

It was fun times!

#1 ISO 100, 1/125th at f/11

#2 Bridge won't tell me the file info at the moment, it's after 11:00pm and I'm really tired. So no info on that one right now. Sorry :/

This was part of the Tax Day Tea Parties being held all over the country on April 15.

I'm going to optimistic and say there were about 600 people there, and about 50 of them were photographers. No joke.

Can you feel the love tonight?

I was recently in downtown Tallahassee in the eve shooting something for the paper, and couldn't help but notice how beautiful the sky was in the 10 minutes between sunset and moonrise.  It brought tears to my eyes.  Figuratively speaking, of course.

David on his board.

I have the rest of these up on my blog.

This is David who loves to skateboard. I took a walk over to this location last Monday specifically to try and photograph some skaters. I found David who gladly let me take photos of him. He was a really cool guy. Thanks David! :)

The Abacus of Fire!

This is an abacus.  It used to help people count before machines did it for them.  Then all the people disappeared, because they couldn't offer anything useful that the machines hadn't already created.

P.S.  I slipped in a post (late as usual) for last thursday, but I fear it has gone unnoticed.  This is your notice.

Cops and Robbers!

These two photos are not related in any way, other than they just both happened to be shot on the same outing.  The former, a photo of a bank of america which was robbed just before (unfortunately, the robbers left before I could take pictures of them) and the latter a picture of the bar that won best bar in tallahassee.  Or something like that.
