Shadows of October

Interpret the title however you choose.  I chose three words, and you get to take from it what you wish.  Whatever you decide to take from it though, just know, it will be life altering.  What are the shadows?  What is October?  Why is it "of"?  This is deep, penetrating stuff here.  Food for thought.

There was a really bad shadow on his right eye so I had to burn it in Aperture.

  1. you're right it is very deep stuff...in fact I had to put on a pair of boots...

the pictures are very good... were they taken on the same day under the same sunlight?

  2. Yeah. It was in the morning, and the sun was really bright and harsh. (I took these at Crest Lake Park) Under the dock was very shady (top one) but the bottom one was in the sun.

  3. Ouch, poor guy's eye. I'd hate to have mine burned like that.

On an unrelated note, I love the composition of the first photo.
