I went to a park with my friend last week and took some photos. We were hoping to catch a sunset but we kinda missed it, haha. We struggled with some bad lighting but I at least got some good shots, i dont know if she did or not though. x3

Pride and Prejudice

So I went to New York last week to visit my friend, and I took some headshots of him while I was there (he's an actor)

Then I caught the flu the day before I left, and sat on my couch for 5 days.  Now I'm better, but my body mocks me with it's lack of strength to do anything.

"Free Crap"

I was coming back from the store the other day, and saw this box that said (says) "Free Crap" and just had to get a photo. :) My dad and I were walking our new dog that same day and thought we should put some of his exes wast in the box, just for laughs :)

ISO 100, 1/100th at f/4 - lens: 70-200mm f/4 L USM at 84mm
Flash fired.

And this is just a bonus photo, so you can all see how handsome my new buddy is lol :P

Oh crap! I forgot it was my day to post. Please bare with me while I try to find something on my hard drive to post. :)

I totally forgot, we got a new dog last week and that's been eating up our time.

18mm

Darkened and contrasted with curves and used the unsharp mask
then i used the blur tool to even out the clouds and make them look smoother because they seemed kind of grainy to me...

Gee

Hello there lads (and lasses)

So my computer has been giving me trouble lately (keyboard and trackpad have been freezing) so I had to take it to the Apple store to get it serviced, but the Apple store is 2 1/2 hours away from me, so I drove 5 hours one day to drop it off and 5 hours two days later to pick it up.  This span fell over my day, hence the reason for the lack of a post, but here I am to save the day!

Moving right along, I shot a wedding with a photographer I know on Saturday, and here are some of what came out.

Nikon d50 18-70mm
18mm | ISO 1600 | f3.5 | 1/40

Nikon d50 18-70mm
38mm | ISO 1600 | f4.2 | 1/100

Nikon d300 70-210 f2.8
210mm | ISO 1250 | f2.8 | 1/100

Added Gaussian Blur to background (which is giving them that glow...still haven't decided if I like that or not) and boosted contrast

hear me roar

statue2

I got this little guy when my school went to DC last April. We stopped at the National Cathedral, which was amazing, and I bought my own gargoyle :] I think its supposed to be a chimera, then i realized it doesnt have the goat head or the snake tail so I'll have to find the tag and check xD

darkened/contrasted in gimp with curves, and used the unsharp mask

I did Brian's tag and posted it on my blog if you didn't see it,

Self Portrait

See my amazing one handed self portrait skillz? :)

OK, so I waited 40 minutes to take my portrait.  I wanted to get a cool(er) background.  In this case, a bus.

My favorite photographer in the field I intend to enter: Nate Kaiser of the Image is Found.

G'day

Hello friends

My apologies for being MIA of late.  Summer classes have ramped back up and I started a new job this past week so my mind has been distracted.

Tallahassee recently had a Highland Games and Celtic Festival, chocked full of weird games.
