Halloween school dance.
This dance was on Friday, over the weekend I printed 90 4x6s of my favorite photos and will sell them for $1 each to the kids at my school. It work last year with the Winter Formal, so I figure I'd try to make a little extra cash ;)

Very Last First Time
This week has a number of firsts for me. To start with I had my first photo session. Which was epically awesome! I got to shoot a house down in Georgia which was interesting.
I also entered into my first photo competition! So I had some 8 x 12's made and, mounted them to foam core. And as a added plus there's going to be a photo gallery in about 2 weeks featuring the winner(s) and all entries. So yeah even if I don't win a thing at least some other person will see my photos.

Eastbound and traveling.
Sorry for not posting lately. I starting redesigning my website and found myself knee deep in actionscript coding and not doing too much else. So suffice to say I had no pictures to post. And I forgot. But do visit. I also decided to start posting to a blog of my own (I suppose I am growing up)
Moving on to greener pastures:
There was an event at a homeless shelter in Tallahassee, and the FSU football team stopped by for a spell.

f3.5 | 1/160 | ISO 1250 | 18mm (wide angle lens distortion, yo!)
They were big.

Brithday Cake

50mm - f/1.8 - 1/50sec
Sorry not much to say (I'm leaving to go fishing in like 5mins ago) other than that, this is indeed my birthday cake.
Yeah I know, but honestly this was the only edited photo I have from this past week.
And yes I am missing the watermark so...don't steal it until I get it on there.
Yeah you know who I'm talking about.

Gee
Hello there lads (and lasses)
So my computer has been giving me trouble lately (keyboard and trackpad have been freezing) so I had to take it to the Apple store to get it serviced, but the Apple store is 2 1/2 hours away from me, so I drove 5 hours one day to drop it off and 5 hours two days later to pick it up. This span fell over my day, hence the reason for the lack of a post, but here I am to save the day!
Moving right along, I shot a wedding with a photographer I know on Saturday, and here are some of what came out.

hear me roar
I got this little guy when my school went to DC last April. We stopped at the National Cathedral, which was amazing, and I bought my own gargoyle :] I think its supposed to be a chimera, then i realized it doesnt have the goat head or the snake tail so I'll have to find the tag and check xD
darkened/contrasted in gimp with curves, and used the unsharp mask
I did Brian's tag and posted it on my blog if you didn't see it,

Self Portrait
See my amazing one handed self portrait skillz? :)OK, so I waited 40 minutes to take my portrait. I wanted to get a cool(er) background. In this case, a bus.
My favorite photographer in the field I intend to enter: Nate Kaiser of the Image is Found.

Stage Light
This is at my church, believe it or not. We rented some moving intelligent heads (lights) for one service, just to keep it real like that. I volunteer for the church, so I spent most of my weekend setting these puppies up, then programming them to move around, flash, and change color in time with the song.It was intense. Like camping. Sorry for the bad pun that only really works when spoken :p
