Chocolate Thunda from Down Unda

There's an old mission in Tallahassee, supposedly from the 1500s or sometime in that era known as "really long ago," affectionately (and also officially) called Mission San Luis.

These are from that same mission, on a day in particular where all of the workers, who dress up as 1500-ians and mill about the place, were gone.  Sad day.  But very cool nonetheless.

It was a cloudy-ish day, but one of those where it's sunny underneath, so it's still kinda bright...more like a giant softbox than anything.  So it was all naturally lit, which gives it a very natural feel, and definitely is fitting for an archaic pile of rocks like this (in my opinion).

Shadows of October

Interpret the title however you choose.  I chose three words, and you get to take from it what you wish.  Whatever you decide to take from it though, just know, it will be life altering.  What are the shadows?  What is October?  Why is it "of"?  This is deep, penetrating stuff here.  Food for thought.

Biology

Biology

This shot looks strange to me, but I like it. I'm not quite sure what the camera focused on. This was just an extra random thing I shot as I was out today.

I also wanted to point out, In case you didn't know, I've taken a break from posting on my main blog for a while.

But I just wanted tell you that, you can still get your daily dose of Brian on my twitter...yeah.

Mighty Kong has woken from his slumber!

Taken in the middle of December on a pitch black road in a forest in Palm Coast.  That's an exaggeration, but not by much.  Photograph was aided by my father, acting as my assistant.

dear vienna

woods

I regarded the world as such a sad sight
Until I viewed it in black and white
Then I reviewed every frame and basic shape
And sealed the exits with caution tape
Don’t refocus your eyes in the darkness
And don’t remember this place unless
I describe all the things that you cannot see
And we’ll unravel the mystery

I decided I want to start taking photos based off of songs, however vaguely related they might end up xD I just want to get a little more creative.
This song is called Dear Vienna by a guy called Owl City.

Flash: not used
Focal length: 18mm
Exposure time: 1/250
Aperture: f/10.0

Desaturated in gimp
And I played around with the curves to add some contrast

Sophistication

Sophistication
Probably one of my most favorite shots ever.

After this shot I started a list of cars I would like to photograph.
My main hope is to get my most favorite car of all time.

Porsche's "911 Carrera S type"

And nope I didn't have to look that up.
Yes, I am that big of a nerd.

If your wondering what my chances are.
There is within 10 miles from my home, the Porsche dealership for the greater Chattanooga area.

Yeah.

Oh, for those who don't follow anything car related, this is the hood ornament to a Jaguar S type year unknown .
And yes, people did walk by. And yes, they where wondering what I was doing.

Juicy Juicy Juicy

This is from a basketball game that I shot last night.  FSU vs. UNC.  We lost.  Am I surprised?  The answer to that riddle my friends is no.  Last second buzzer beater, 80-77, in case you were curious.

D

D's idea, which is weird.  He normally hates having his picture taken but today he was eager to take this one.  I thought it was pretty funny, having him "pray" while he was wearing his gangster hat and jacket.

Location was my house.  More specifically, in my living room.
